More About Our Company

Michelle Akin was born in Kansas in 1972. Piano lessons began at age 8,  with the cello following at 11. The arsenal was complete at age 14 when she picked up the bass and joined the jazz ensemble. She went on to major in music at DePaul University, studying both bass and cello with Larry Gray. She has recently begun her studies again, this time with Bill Harrison.
